EMS Training Cadre Instructor - Fire and Rescue

Introduction The Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue EMS Training Section is looking for part-time Instructors to assist with and or teach various EMS classes to include the following:
National Registry Paramedic, National Registry Emergency Medical Technician, ALS/BLS Continuing Education classes, various AHA and NAEMT courses.
Minimum Requirements:
Nationally or State certified provider with five years of experience at the level or higher that they are requesting to teach or (2) years endorsed provider at that level or higher in PWCFRS Virginia Certified Educational Coordinator (preferred) Willingness to become certified as a Virginia EC NAEMSE or VDFP Instructor I (preferred) Willingness to become NAEMSE and or VDFP Instructor I within 12 months Willingness to become NAEMSE and or VDFP Instructor II Instructor certification for the course you wish to teach; i.

ACLS, PALS, etc.
Note - all courses will require the perspective Instructor to be monitored by another Instructor prior to being released as a lead Instructor Schedule:
Instructional days/times will vary based on the course being presented.
Courses are typically held weekdays or weekends from 0800-1700 and weeknights from 1900-2200.
Hours worked will vary based on the needed frequency of each specific course.
Special Requirement:
All employees considered for hire by the Department of Fire & Rescue are subject an FBI background check Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Pediatric Advanced Life Support Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
